I have been to jazz camp west twice and went to the Monterey jazz festival program when I was a student.
Do you know about other camps? Stanford's, San Jose, etc

Hello,
Regarding your questions about music camps, I recommend the Jamey Aebersold Summer Jazz Workshop, held in Louisville, KY. I teach on the faculty, and I attended this camp in the 1980's as a student. It's an amazing collection of top faculty from around the county. Students and faculty really get along well, and it's simply a great environment in which to study and and improve your playing level.
