Does anyone out there know anything about Whitehall Sopranos. I am a college student and am looking to see what kind os quality this horn is. Thanks Justin

I used one way back in high school, and it seemed kind of junky. Take that with a grain of salt, though, because it was probably in disrepair. Like any horn, I'd try it out before forming an opinion.

I had a Whitehall soprano I purchased in high school in the early 1970s. I played it through college. I found the brand via a friend who was attending Berklee in Boston. At that time, Selmer Mark VI sopranos had a year or two waiting list and the students at Berklee were being told that Whitehalls were good substitutes for the hard-to-get Mark VIs. From what I understand, the Whitehalls were Yani stencils.
