TRUMAN STATE UNIVERSITY – Temporary Assistant Professor of Music (Saxophone and Music Theory.) One year appointment, available Aug. 15 2012. Responsibilities: Teach applied saxophone, all levels; oversee degree recitals as necessary. Teach first year music theory and aural skills classes. Qualifications: ABD in doctoral program in saxophone performance, completed doctorate preferred; outstanding saxophone performance skills; demonstrated success as applied saxophone teacher; collegiate teaching experience (classroom or applied; graduate assistant teaching experience acceptable); excellent written and oral communication skills.
