Composer Kenneth Fuchs, who's latest CD with the London Symphony earned two Grammy nominations, has agreed to write a saxophone concerto to be completed sometime in early 2010. This will be a 12-15 minute work for one person playing multiple saxophones (no bari). The buy-in will likely be around $300 and will include: your name on the score as co-commissioner, band AND orchestra versions of the accompaniment (both written by the composer himself), exclusive recording and performing rights for a period of time (most likely 2 years) prior to publication, and that warm fuzzy feeling that you helped to bring new art to life. Email me at ryan@ryanjanus.com if you're interested. I'll answer any questions you may have and send you a contract as soon as I firm up the details. You can check out Mr. Fuchs's music at http://www.kennethfuchs.com.
