As of about 10 years ago, Rousseau suggested
Begin: 4 measures before no. 1; cut after 4th measure of no. 13 to no. 21; cut from no. 22 to before no. 41.
This was for a concerto competition at IU.

Steve,
I have cut from beat 1 of the 3rd measure of #22 (near the end of the Cadenza) to beat 2 of the "piu pesante" 4 before #55. No sax in that measure -- enter on the triplets prior to #55. This cuts out about 4 minutes and keeps it under 10 minutes overall.
