Has anyone tried it yet? What do you think?
I am hesitant to buy it because I really want them to make it in black. I currently play on the older black Masters, and they don't make them anymore.

I've had one for several weeks now and I absolutely love it. I've played the Optimum ligature for years and this one really does combine the best characteristics of the Masters and Optimum ligatures. It is very light, with a double-threaded screw: a quarter turn and the ligature is tight or loose, making for quick reed adjustment. Reeds seem very responsive with this ligature. If it makes you feel better, the ligature cap is indeed black.
