Author: Jesse Evans

The Mana Quartet will present a two-week workshop, this June, as part of their residency at the Hot Springs Music Festival, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. During this exciting event, MSQ members will offer private instruction and a series of seminars, during which they will share their experience and skill with participants. In addition, all participants will have the opportunity to perform in quartets and a saxophone orchestra. In these ensemble rehearsals, some of the most important aspects of music making (style, intonation, tonal variation, musical interaction) will be thoroughly examined. All participants will have full access to all HSMF concerts, including several concerts featuring works with saxophone and the US Premiere of Anders Nilsson's Concerto Grosso for saxophone quartet and orchestra. For more information and application, please visit our website. We have a limited amount of spots, so apply soon! website
