We're just a week away from NASA, where ALRY Publications will be releasing a few new saxophone choir arrangements:

Serenade, Op. 44 by Antonin Dvorak, arranged by Todd Yukumoto - As recorded on the University of Texas CD, Tex Sax: Next Generation. One of the greatest pieces of chamber music ever written, skillfully transcribed by Todd for large saxophone ensemble, SnSAATTTBBBs, with an alternate soprano part for the sopranino, and also a contrabass transposition of the bass part.

Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 by Johann Sebastian Bach, arranged by Todd Yukumoto - A baroque classic which fits right in with the sound of a consort of saxophones: SnSSAAATTBBs. Also, with alternate soprano part for sopranino and contrabass transposition of the bass part.

Der Freischutz Suite, by Carl Maria von Weber, arranged by Erik Steighner - As recorded by the UT Saxophone Ensemble on Tex Sax: Next Generation. Scored for SnSAAATTBBBs, with a contrabass transposition of the bass part.

In addition to these selections, we'll also be adding another arrangement by José Riojas to the New Century Saxophone Quartet Collection. Other additions for quartet and a piece for alto saxophone and piano by Slovenian composer Anze Rozman round out our latest releases. See you in Champaign.
