I have a Mark VI alto in my office, serial number 127xxx, belonging to
the roommate of one of my students. Original lacquer with
the wear typical of an instrument of this age; there's a small ding in the bowl. There is some play in the action, and the pads are pretty shot. The neck looks true. In other words, in need of a rebuild, but certainly a worthwhile investment.
This instrument does not have a high-f# key.
