Hello all, I'm in the market for a baritone saxophone. I'm most interested in a Selmer Paris SA80 Serie II in very good to excellent condition, but I might be interested in a Serie I or a Yamaha 62. If you've got one for sale, please contact me: email Cheers, EH

It is clear you're looking for a used horn. But, you may want to wait (or fly to France) and try the new Series III baritone. An amazing newly-designed instrument. You can read about it on Selmer's web site. We saw (and played) it in Paris on our trip there in March.

Hmmm... that does sound appealing, but we'll have to see what the price looks like when it gets here, especially with the dollar remaining so weak against the Euro. I'm still regularly experiencing sticker shock over the price of reeds. :/

Factory price for a Serie III Baritone will be upwards of $10,000 and suggested retail price is (according to Kessler) around $9,099. So if you want it cheap, you may need to wait. Best of luck to you, Z Marshall Ignas
