Bio: The Latitude Duo aims to expand and diversify the repertoire for the saxophone duo.  Members Leo Schalifer and Matt Dardick are both currently second year undergraduates at Northwestern University, studying with Taimur Sullivan.  Formed in November of 2018, Latitude made its debut performance at a joint recital in spring of 2019 and gave performances at numerous venues across the country during the summer of 2019 -- including Brevard Music Center, The Chattooga Club, Elmhurst College, and York Community High School.  Leo and Matt's latest project has been commissioning five new works by undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral composers from music schools around the country: they plan to perform these works at their duo recital in winter of 2020.
