Bio:

Andrew Dahlke is recognized across the U.S. and abroad for the artistry he brings to diverse musical settings,

Andrew has performed regularly with the Philadelphia Orchestra, including on the recent Deutsche Grammophon CD release of Leonard Bernstein's Mass.

As a member of the Capitol Quartet, Andrew was featured with orchestras and in recital across the nation. The quartet's commission and recording of Carter Pann's Mechanics: Six from the Shop Floor, was selected as a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in 2016. . 

Andrew’s CD Anime' consists of works by Bach, Poulenc, Ravel, Villa-Lobos and Rodney Rogers. He recorded J. S. Bach’s Solo Cello Suites on soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones, while publishing his own edition of the printed music. 

Andrew received a U.S. State Department Cultural Arts Grant to tour China with his own quartet. 

Andrew is Professor of Saxophone at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.
