Ensemble Bio:

The Illinois State University Saxophone Ensemble is a vibrant group of graduate and undergraduate students from the School of Music at Illinois State.  The group has been active on and off-campus since 2010, and has given world-premiere performances of works by Roy Magnuson and Joshua Keeling. Recent performances have included the 2016 NASA Biennial Conference at Texas Tech and the 2016 RedNote New Music Festival at ISU. The group is active in commisioning new music as well as transcriptions, and is under the artistic direction of Dr. Paul Nolen.
