Bio:

Dr. Andy Wright serves as Professor of Saxophone and Woodwinds at Grayson College. He received his doctorate degree in saxophone performance and a Masters of music degree in jazz studies from the University of North Texas. He received his Bachelors in music education from the University of Central Arkansas. Dr. Wright is a Yamaha Performing Artist and plays Yamaha instruments exclusively, along with Vandoren reeds, mouthpieces, and ligatures.

Dr. Gregory Dewhirst serves as Professor of Music with Tarrant County College, and Adjunct Professor of Saxophone and Associate Director of the wind ensemble at Texas Wesleyan University. He received his Bachelor of Science in Music Education from North Dakota State University and and Masters and Doctorate of Music from the University of North Texas, respectively. 

Drs. Wright and Dewhirst are memebers of the SAGA Saxophone Quartet and actively perform and teach as clinicians, and jazz and classical artists throughout the Texas region.
