Bio: Bob Eason is currently an Associate Instructor of Saxophone at Indiana University and a doctoral student studying with Dr. Otis Murphy.  As the soprano saxophonist of the Kenari Quartet, he was won top prizes at the Coleman Chamber Music Competition (2014), J.C. Arriaga Chamber Music Competition (2013), Plowman Chamber Music Competition (2008, 2013), Chesapeake Bay International Chamber Music Competition (2014), and the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition (2011, 2013, 2015).  He holds a masterís degree in saxophone performance from Indiana University and a bachelorís degree in music education from The University of Houston, where he studied with Mr. Dan Gelok, Mrs. Valerie Vidal, and Dr. Karen Wylie.  Bob was recently a semi-finalist in the 4th Jean-Marie Londeix International Saxophone Competition in Bangkok, Thailand, and in 2012 Bob won 3rd prize in the North American Saxophone Alliance Solo Competition.
