Bio: Matt Crisman is pursuing his MM at Texas Tech University with David Dees. With a background in music education as well as performance, Crisman seeks to find and utilize parallels between different pedagogical fields of music. As an undergraduate student at The University of Georgia Crisman studied saxophone with Dr. Connie Frigo, who encouraged the exploration of saxophone as a medium for communication. Crisman's goal within music, in any instrumentation, is to convey meaning in a supremely convincing way.
