Andrew Cook is an Associate Professor of Music at Harding University where he teaches woodwinds and directs the Harding University Jazz Band.  Prior to Harding, he served on the faculties of Ohio Valley University and Faulkner University, and as adjunct instructor of saxophone at Alabama State University, Alderson Broaddus College, and the Longy School of Music. 

He has appeared as a recitalist and clinician throughout the eastern US, performing in faculty/guest recitals at Longy School of Music, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Alabama State University, the Alabama Music Educators Association Conference and the Arkansas Saxophone Symposium.  Previously a member of the Boston Saxophone Quartet, he currently collaborates with percussionist Wesley Parker in the saxophone/marimba duo, Intersect. 

Cook holds degrees from the College of Wooster (B.M.), The Boston Conservatory (M.M.) and Boston University (D.M.A.). His former teachers include Kenneth Radnofsky, Curtis Johnson and Jose Rua.
