Bio: Keri Wing is a saxophonist and private teacher in the Kansas City area.  She recently earned her Master of Music degree in Saxophone Performance from the University of Texas with Harvey Pittel and Dr. Stephen Page.  She recieved her Bachelor of Music Education degree in 2012 from the University of Kansas with Vince Gnojek.  She has traveleld throughout the United States and has been to Northern Germany for nine weeks to perform with an opera orchestra and saxophone quartet and Costa Rica to perform and give master classes for the 2015 Sax Fest Internacional.  She has recorded albums on the Naxos and Reference Recording labels with the University of Kansas Wind Ensemble and the University of Texas Wind Ensemble.  She enjoys performing with various ensembles in Kansas City and writing new music.    
Ensemble Bio: The Iraz˙ Duo is comprised of Keri Wing and Dr. Crystal Alexander- Duckett.  They met while studying at The University of Kansas and they have performed over the years as a duo and in several quartets, jazz bands, and wind ensembles. In March of 2015 Keri and Crystal performed a duo recital as part of the 6th Sax Fest Costa Rica Internacional. They also gave the first master class in applied saxophone at the Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica. After the festival the two had quite an off road adventure up the Iraz˙ Volcano and it only seemed fitting to coin the handle.  Crystal and Keri both have a passion for teaching and new music for the saxophone.
