Bio:

Audrey Miller is the assistant professor of
clarinet at Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Audrey’s
international debut in Belgium in 2011 and spent the summer of 2013 teaching
and performing in Tanzania as a part of Clarinets for Conservation. She
has performed around the United States, premiering a work by composer Scott
McAllister at the 2012 International Clarinet Association’s ClarinetFest in
Lincoln, NE. Audrey recently finished her Doctorate of Musical Arts Degree
in clarinet performance at Arizona State University working as a Graduate
Teaching Assistant and studying with Dr. Robert Spring and Dr. Joshua Gardner.
Her research focused on commissioning new works for clarinet/bass clarinet and
other woodwind instruments. She is a graduate of Florida State University with
a M.M, where she studied with Frank Kowalsky and earned a B.M. from Western
Washington University, studying with Eugene Zoro.
Ensemble Bio:

Ryan Lemoine
is an active performer and educator in the Phoenix metro area, as well as in
many different venues across the United States and Europe, from clubs on
Frenchman street in New Orleans, to premiering contemporary works on
concert stages in Amsterdam, NL, and anywhere in-between. As a chamber
musician, he was a prize winner at the Music Teachers National Association
Chamber Music Competition, as well as the inaugural NASA Saxophone Quartet
competition. As a researcher, Lemoine is finishing an ultrasound study of
saxophonist’s tongue motion during pitch bends.

Adjunct Faculty member at Chandler-Gilbert Community
College, Lemoine also maintains a private lesson studio, as well as teaching
saxophone at Rosie’s House Music Academy. BM at LSU (Dr. Griffin Campbell); MM
at UNCSA (Taimur Sullivan); additional studies with Ties Mellema, Arno
Bornkamp, & Niels Bijl;  DMA at ASU with Dr. Tim McAllister and Dr.
Christopher Creviston.
