Ensemble Bio:

The Lone Star Quartet is dedicated to the performance of
traditional saxophone quartet repertoire as well as the creation of new works
in both classical and jazz idioms. Comprised of saxophonists from major
universities in the State of Texas, The Lone Star Quartet draws on diverse
musical backgrounds to forge a unique and engaging chamber ensemble.
