Bio:

Jeff Siegfried’s primary
areas of interest include music and politics, musical embodiment, and
Yiddishism in music. He has presented his research at several international
conferences and has forthcoming publications in the Revue Belge de Musicologie and Studia
Musicologica
. His edition of César Franck’s Violin Sonata, arranged for
Soprano Saxophone and Piano, is being published by the Potenza music label. Siegfried
is a graduate teaching assistant in music theory at Northwestern University.



His performance credits
include concerto performances with the U.S. Army Band, “Pershing’s Own” and
orchestral engagements with the New World Symphony and the Chicago Symphony
Orchestra.
