Bio: The Minot State Saxophone Project is under the supervision of Dr. James Fusik. They have taken the lead in numerous contemporary music events at Minot State University in North Dakota over the past three years, including several iterations of the 'Minot Modern Project.' Comprised entirely of undergraduate music majors, the ensemble focuses on performing traditional and contemporary music, especially striving to bring unique concerts off-campus and into the underserved communities of the Northern Plains of North Dakota. Recent performances have featured the music of Marilyn Shrude, John Cage, Ravi Kittappa, and Edvard Grieg.
