Dr. Scott Sandberg currently serves as Assistant
Professor of Music--Coordinator of Woodwinds at the University of North
Dakota. He is an active performer, adjudicator, and clinician. Dr.
Sandberg has performed internationally in Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Ireland,
the United Kingdom, and Norway as well as across the United States at
universities, festivals, and numerous conferences of the North American
Saxophone Alliance. A North Dakota native, he received his Bachelor of Music in
music education from the University of North Dakota and his Master of Arts and
Doctor of Musical Arts in saxophone performance from The University of Iowa as
a student of Dr. Kenneth Tse. His previous teaching engagements include
the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota, the University of Texas at
Dallas, the Bloomingdale School of Music in New York City, and St. Ambrose
University in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Sandberg is a Conn-Selmer and Selmer Paris
