Bio:

Saxophonist/Composer David Stambler is a veteran of thousands of professional performances playing both jazz and classical music. He has performed at recital halls and jazz festivals throughout the Mid- Atlantic region, and has played saxophone and clarinet on nationally broadcast radio and television commercials, andon film and video game soundtracks. He has commissioned and/or premiered many compositions for the saxophone, and has appeared as soloist or on-call saxophonist with numerous orchestras, and with dozens more orchestras as a member of the Capitol Quartet. David received his Bachelor of Music Degree in Saxophone from the University of Michigan, the Master of Music degree from the Peabody Institute in Baltimore, and the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Maryland. He is currently Professor of Saxophone at Penn State University.
