Bio: Emily Loboda is a saxophonist and music educator from Tullahoma, Tennessee.  She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Musical Arts at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  She received her Bachelorís Degree in Music Education at Tennessee Technological University in May 2012.  She earned her Masterís of Music in Saxophone Performance from Central Michigan University in May 2014. 

As a soloist, Emily has received numerous awards.  Most recently Emily was the state winner for the 2014/2015 North Carolina MTNA Young Artist Woodwind competition, and winner of Central Michigan University's  2014 Concerto Competition.  As a founding member of the Alias Quartet, Emily received an honorable mention in the state Tennessee MTNA competition in 2010/2011, was a Semi-finalist for the Plowman Chamber music competition in 2011, the state winner for Tennessee MTNA 2011/2012, and at the MTNA Southern Division received Alternate for Nationals.
Ensemble Bio: Breem is a newly formed percussion and saxophone duo.  The members of Breem are percussionist Breana Meyers and saxophonist Emily Loboda.  Both members of Breem are currently pursuing their Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in Music Performance.  As a newly formed duo they have three commissions underway and two recitals scheduled for Spring 2016.  In Fall 2016 Breem plans to record a C.D. of newly composed percussion and saxophone duos commissioned by the duo.
