Chinese Saxophonist, Wenbo Feng. Currently working on his doctor degree as saxophone performance at University of North Texas. In 2016-2019, Wenbo Feng was a teaching fellow in UNT. Assisting the Saxophone studio events and teaching weekly saxophone lessons and quartet coaching to undergraduate music major students. In 2018, Wenbo Feng joined Mountain View college as saxophone adjunct professor. Wenbo has been chose as a First Place Winner (College Students and Professional Musicians Category) of the American Protégé International Woodwinds & Brass Competition 2019.

      Wenbo Feng not only as saxophonist but also composer. In 2014, Wenbo is going to North American Saxophone Alliance Biennial Conference in University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne, and he gave two performances at the conference: one is his own composition—Windtalker. In 2015, Wenbo Feng permitted another two of his own works, Bridge and Phoenix, on 37th International Saxophone Symposium at Washington D.C.

Xiao Wang



Xiao Wang has been the recipient of numerous awards and prizes at the 65th Steinway Piano Competition in China, the 7th Eastman Young Artists International Piano Competition, the McElroy Competition, Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music Concerto Competition, Jan and Beattie Wood Concerto Competition and Piano Solo Competition at the Brevard Music Center Festival, University of North Texas Concerto Competition and the 13th Concorso Internazionale di Esecuzione Musicale (13th International Music Competition) held in Padova, Italy.


Yuxin Mei



Yuxin Mei is a renowned pipa performer and currently a PhD student of Ethnomusicology at UNT and director of the UNT Chinese Ensemble. Mei's paper “Negotiating with Sound: The Living Sound Niche Created by the Chinese Immigrants in Dallas Area” won the Vida Chenoweth Student Paper Prize in 2016, awarded by the Society for Ethnomusicology Southern Plains Chapter, and she received the prestigious Presser Graduate Music Award in March 2018. Mei has performed in China, Portugal, Norway, Singapore, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau and other countries. She has taught masterclasses at the Macau Art School and the Chong Hong Chinese Music Association in Macau.  She was invited to Norway from 2012 to 2016 as part of the cultural exchange project "Spoor" hosted by The Cultural Rucksack in Akershus. In 1998, Mei released the album Spring of Zhu Hai.
