Ensemble Bio:

One of the most versatile saxophone duos currently playing, Binary consists of Dr. Bob Fuson and Dr. Wade Howles. Binary was conceived with the goal of exploring and promoting the use of diverse saxophone pairings. It is common to see both gentlemen bringing 3-4 instruments to their performances, switching from saxophone to saxophone, sometimes within one piece of music.

Dr. Fuson is currently the Instructor of Woodwinds at Hastings College. Dr. Howles is currently the Director of Bands at Lakeview Community Schools (Columbus, NE). Both received their MM and DMA degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and are founding members of the saxophone quartet, TCBSQ. Both gentlemen proudly represent and endorse Key Leaves. Dr. Howles also represents Eastman Winds and Rovner Ligatures as a Performing Artist and Educator.
