Bio:

Andrew R. Steinberg is a Boston based saxophonist, performing throughout the US and Europe. A highly sought-after orchestral saxophonist, he has been invited to perform at music festivals across the globe, including Verbier, Round Top, Spoleto, and Schleswig-Holstein. 


On top of performance activities, Andrew frequently lectures on the history of the saxophone and the life of Adolphe Sax. Recent engagements have included Boston University, New England Conservatory, Brookline Adult & Community Education, as well as the Metropolitan Museum of Art.


As a current doctoral student at New England Conservatory and a graduate from Manhattan School of Music, Andrew's teachers include Kenneth Radnofsky and Paul Cohen, as well as private studies with Harry Kinross White.


Andrew currently serves as faculty at Dana Hall School of Music and Usdan Summer Camp for the Arts. He is a member of the musical collective Le Train Bleu, and Music Director of the Megalopolis Saxophone Orchestra.
