Bio: |
Cehuai Zhang comes
from Changsha, China. He earned a Bachelor of Saxophone Performance degree at
the Shenyang Conservatory of Music in China and received Master of Music degree
on Saxophone Performance from the University of Northern Iowa. Currently, he is
working on D.M.A degree of saxophone performance at the University of North
Texas. His teachers include Dr. Eric Nestler, Dr. Ann Bradfield, and Christopher
Merz.
He performed at the
North American Saxophone Alliance Reginal Conference in 2015 and 2017, and the 2nd
Asia Saxophone Congress in Shanghai, 2019. He also has performed with the Wind
Ensemble in the UNT, and Symphonic Band in the UNI. Moreover, he has participated
in saxophone master classes by Dr. Eugene Rousseau, Prof. Debra Richtmeyer, Dr.
Kenneth Tse, and Mr. Arno Bornkamp. |
