Yo-yo Su is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts & the University of Melbourne in Australia, the conservatories of Montpellier & Versailles in France where he completed his D.E.M and Perfectionnement degrees, and at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam & the Netherlands String Quartet Academy in The Netherlands where he earned his bachelor degree as well as his master's degree in both saxophone and chamber music. 

Laureate of numerous national and international competitions for solo and chamber music, Yo-yo is a founding member of the Ardemus Quartet based in Amsterdam and can be heard on the Cobra Records label.

Since August 2019, he has joined the saxophone class at the University of Iowa to complete his DMA degree under the guidance of Dr. kenneth Tse supported by the Iowa Performance Fellowship.
