Bio:

Originally from Raleigh, NC, Ben Still is an active solo and chamber musician throughout the United States. Currently, he serves on the faculties of UNC Charlotte and Lenoir-Rhyne University, where he teaches applied saxophone and chamber music, as well as courses in music theory and ear training. Dr. Still has been a prizewinner in the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, The American Prize Competition, and ENKOR Competition. Additionally, he has presented clinics and performances at the International Saxophone Symposium, Texas Music Educators Association and North American Saxophone Alliance annual conferences. Dr. Still earned his Doctor of Musical Arts and Master of Music degrees from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Music with honors from UNC Charlotte. His primary teachers include David Dees, Stephen Jones, Will Campbell, and Wayne Leechford. Dr. Still is a Conn-Selmer Artist/Clinician and performs on Selmer Paris saxophones exclusively.
