Bio:
Amy McGlothlin is Assistant Professor of Humanities (Music) and Director of Bands at Fitchburg State University, where she has taught since 2018. She holds degrees in saxophone performance from Marshall University, the Longy School of Music, and Boston University where she studied with Ed Bingham and Ken Radnofsky. Dr. McGlothlin is a multi-instrumentalist, teaching saxophone, clarinet, and bagpipes in New England since 2003. She is a member of the Pharos Saxophone Quartet, Triage Woodwind Ensemble and is director of the Clan MacPherson Pipes and Drums. DShe has led ensembles on tours in the United States, Scotland and Ireland and was the organizer and founder of the Salem State University Saxophone and Woodwind Day clinics secondary school students.  
Dr. McGlothlin is a Yamaha Artist and Rovner Products Ambassador.
Ensemble Bio: Triage Contemporary Winds is a modern wind trio comprised of Amy McGlothlin, Eileen Yarrison and Bill Kirkley. The ensemble pursues the creation of new music that is accessible to both the music aficianado as well as the musical scholar. Triage was formed in 2016.

William Kirkley

Clarinet

Bio: William Kirkley is a founding and current member of the Board of Directors of the Lexington Symphony. He has been a featured soloist twice for the orchestra. Mr Kirkley is also the Principal Clarinetist for the Cape Ann Symphony, Boston Musica Viva, and the Gordon Symphony. Additionally he is a member of the Orchestra of Indian Hill, and is a substitute clarinetist for the Boston Symphony and Boston Pops. Mr. Kirkley’s playing has been called “emotional, committed, and intensely exciting” by the Boston Globe. He has performed with the Boston Symphony, the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, the Dallas Symphony, Dallas Lyric Opera, Tulsa Philharmonic, the Bolshoi Ballet, the Santa Fe Opera, and the Chicago Civic Orchestra under Sir Georg Solti. He has taught on the music faculties of UMASS Boston, Harvard University and Brandeis University. He is currently on the music faculty of Gordon College and Holy Cross.

Eileen Yarrison

Flute

Bio: Eileen Yarrison, flutist of the contemporary wind trio Triage, holds teaching positions at Gordon College and the Indian Hill School of Music (MA) and conducts the New England Flute Orchestra and the Me2/Boston Flute Choir. Along with saxophonist Amy McGlothin and clarinetist Bill Kirkley, she is a founding member of The Collective, a chamber music ensemble based in Massachusetts. Dr Yarrison has commissioned several new works for flute ensemble and flute with other instruments. Complementing her interest in new music, she enjoys playing traverso and other historical flutes in early music settings. She can also be found playing Irish flute and pennywhistle with the BarnBurners traditional music band of Indian Hill.
