      Evan Gidley is a graduate of Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne where he received a BM in Saxophone Performance and a BSM in Music Technology.  He has performed concertos with The Marion Philharmonic Orchestra and the Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne Community Orchestra. Evan has performed at both Lincoln Center as part of the New York City Jazz Festival with his jazz combo and Carnegie Hall with the Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne Symphonic Wind Ensemble.  He has participated in the Eastman School of Music’s American Saxophone Academy, and has played on masterclasses for Dr. Fred Hemke, Dr. John Sampen, Dr. Ted Liley, and Hans De Jong.  Evan is currently pursuing his Masters degree in Saxophone Performance at the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music where he studies with Dr. James Bunte and Rick VanMatre.  His past teachers include Dr. Nathan Nabb, Dr. Farrell Vernon and Dr. James Ator.
