Bio: Michael Warner received his education from Hiram College, Hiram, Ohio. He is an accomplished performer and freelance musician in and around the Phoenix area. He is the founder and soprano saxophonist with the Desert Wind Saxophone Quartet. Mr. Warner has been a contributing writer to the Saxophone Journal. His works are published with G. Schirmer and Desert Wind Publications. He also has recently formed the Deer Valley Unified School District Saxophone Orchestra that includes students from all five district high schools. He held the position of Assistant Director of Bands and Director of Jazz Bands at Mountain Ridge High School in Glendale, Arizona, 2007-2018. Currently he holds the position of Associtate Director of Bands and Director of Jazz Bands at Boulder Creek High School in Anthem, Arizona. In addition to his duties at Boulder Creek High School, Mr. Warner teaches saxophone and clarinet from his studio in Glendale, Arizona.

Ensemble is comprised of saxophone students from all five high schools in the Deer Valley Unified School District.
