Bio: |
As an accomplished soloist and chamber musician, saxophonist Ben MacDonald has found success in many different national music competitions including the Music Teacher National Association Competitions, the Fischoff National Music Competition, and NASA Competitions. MacDonald recently performed with the Central Michigan University Symphony Orchestra as the Winner of the 2019 Concerto Competition. Constantly striving to grow as a saxophonist, MacDonald has been a participant in the Great Plains Saxophone Workshop and the Cortona Saxophone Sessions, which culminated in a performance at the XVII World Saxophone Congress in Zagreb, Croatia. MacDonald recently graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education from Central Michigan University studying with Professor John Nichol and is now pursuing a Masters of Music from the University of Oklahoma under the instruction of Dr. Jonathan Nichol. |
